• Western Sydney celebrates business excellence at WSABE Silver Legacy Gala

The Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence (WSABE) celebrated its 35th annual gala evening on Friday 26 September 2025 at Waterview in Bicentennial Park, Sydney Olympic Park, honouring the region's most outstanding businesses, innovators and leaders.

Hosted by the Parramatta Chamber of Commerce, the evening carried special significance as it marked a “Silver Legacy” milestone, celebrating 35 years of WSABE, 20 years of Waterview and befittingly held at Sydney Olympic Park which marks 25 years since the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

The evening brought together Western Sydney’s most influential business leaders, government representatives and community champions in a celebration of the lasting legacy these businesses are creating through innovation, leadership and community impact.

The gala featured two distinguished guest speakers, The Hon. Janelle Saffin MP and The Hon. Damien Tudehope MLC, who paid tribute to the diversity, strength and ambition that define Western Sydney’s business community.

“Congratulations to all the finalists and to everyone who put their hand up and put themselves forward. Across Western Sydney we are enriched by 170 countries and more than 100 languages and it is that diversity and vibrancy which makes our region so special. It is reflected in our small businesses, in advanced manufacturing, in our centres of higher education and in our world class tourist attractions. Western Sydney is a region that has it all and can do it all.”

The Hon. Janelle Saffin MP, Minister for Small Business, Minister for Recovery and Minister for the North Coast
